Water Flooding in a Valparaiso Area Church
The reflections of water on the carpeting in this storage area/ meeting area of a local church in Valparaiso indicated a lot of water have spewed out from the frozen pipe that burst. Luckily, the water was potable and not contaminated groundwater. Our SERVPRO of Porter County team arrived as per our slogan---We're Faster To Any Size Disaster. We swiftly extracted the pooling water from the surface with a truck-mounted pump, portable submersible pumps, and ridable, weighted extractors called Rovers. We strive to restore and not replace, and we succeeded by salvaging this expensive, commercial grade carpeting from this area and other sections. The After Photo shows several LGR dehumidifiers coordinated with many air movers to snag the remaining water vapor and to restore a normal RH relative humidity level. We are available 24/7 for any water, mold, or fire emergency.
